Sarah Dion Brooks has been on the stage since she was 7 years old.  She spent her early years performing in the theater, concert choirs and  vocal ensembles, jazz combos, and All-State choirs. She received Outstanding Soloist awards for her vocal jazz solos while performing at different Jazz festivals.

While studying as a vocal performance major in college for two years, required to study classical singing, Sarah was determined to turn her focus towards the music she loved to sing. She took a semester off of classical voice lessons and instead studied one on one with jazz professor, Dr. David Aaberg. This experience was exactly what Sarah needed to begin her journey in the direction she wanted to go.  She changed focus on her studies and graduated with a BA in History, and continued to fall in the love with the time period  of the Jazz Age through the 1950s.

Not long after, Sarah began focusing on performing for older audiences within the retirement communities. Combining her love for history, jazz and the vintage styles, she put together a  classy show that was uniquely her own and warmed the hearts of the senior citizens.

Sarah spent time performing in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, Kansas City, MO and San Anotonio, TX where she also performed with a jazz band.  She began writing her own music, and in August of 2015, she finally started uploading videos of some of her songs on to youtube.  She is still planning her first album.

She now lives in Southern Oregon where she continues to write her own music, play piano and perform regularly.
